A big well done to Sonny and Taran, who have both completed their NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
They are the latest two to finish, and they will not be the last. Fifteen apprenticeships are live across Caring Care right now, with a new group starting in the next few weeks.
An NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is a serious qualification. It covers safeguarding, person-centred care, dementia, mental health, medication, moving and handling, duty of care, and the standards every regulated provider is expected to meet.
The learner builds a portfolio from real work in the real job, assessed by an assessor who observes them in practice. It takes commitment, because the study happens alongside shifts, and the paperwork does not care that the week was busy.
Sonny and Taran did both. That is worth saying out loud.
Every apprenticeship place is fully funded through the apprenticeship levy. There is no cost to the learner. We provide the laptops, protect study time, and give end-to-end support from enrolment to final assessment. The reasons for that are simple:
The sector loses too many good people because nobody invested in them. We would rather be the employer that did.
If you are weighing up a move into care, or already in the sector and want to get your qualification, this is one of the straightforward routes in. No cost to you. A real job on day one. A recognised qualification at the end of it. Experience is not required for most entry roles. The right person matters more than the right CV.
Congratulations again Sonny and Taran, from everyone at Caring Care.
