On 20 March 2024, Caring Care’s Director and Registered Manager, Manjinder Joshi, was invited to speak at UK Care Week on the Caring & Sharing Stage. The focus of the session was:
"Tech-Driven Retention: How Software is Transforming the Care Landscape"
Presented in partnership with Access Care Management, the session explored how digital tools are helping care providers deliver high-quality, consistent support while improving staff retention.

Strengthening Sector Relationships
While attending UK Care Week, Manjinder also engaged with:
- Debbie Ho, Care Quality Commission (CQC) Inspector, to discuss common challenges in the care sector.
- Homecare.co.uk, where we connected with relationship managers about review best practices.
- The Care Workers’ Charity to discuss future collaborations.
- Representatives from Access Group, strengthening our technology partnership.
These conversations reinforced the importance of collaboration to achieve better care outcomes and a more supported workforce.

Swallowing and Thickener Awareness Training in Walsall: Safer Mealtimes in Home Care
Recently our team took part in an outstandingly informative Swallowing and Thickener Awareness session with Charlotte, Nestlé Product Trainer. More than 200 carers attended, reflecting our commitment to learning that directly improves support for people receiving home care in Walsall and across the West Midlands.
Dysphagia and IDDSI Training in Staffordshire
Our Training and Recruitment Team, together with our Senior Care Coordinators, attended **Dysphagia and IDDSI training** at **Staffordshire Beaconside Centre**, delivered by **Staffordshire Council**. The session was detailed, practical, and hands on. Most importantly, it strengthens how we keep mealtimes safe, calm, and enjoyable for people who live with swallowing difficulties.
